This Constituency is a very remote and poorly accessible part of Ghana. The area and surrounding villages are subject to extreme poverty and deprivation.

The main mode of transportation in the constituency is bicycle or motor bike, my aim is to help create an assembly plant in the constituency.

Nkwanta South Constituency needs greater improvement in the education sector. I will work to provide an ample learning atmosphere to boost the education standards.

Nkwanta a district has no High learning institution after SHS. Many young people posted to work and teach there have no flexible means of furthering their education. With the government incentives for the telecoms companies to make available at rural areas,

Bee-keeping is gradually taking center stage at the constituency and will be supported to be a catalyst in reduce poverty.

Cassava is the most important food staple in Nkwanta Constituency everybody produces cassava. If the cassava produced can be processed into secondary products of industrial market value poverty can be half very soon.

Before and during the 2008 election, I played significant roles to ensure our party was elected to power. During that period I received numerous calls from my Constituents, asking that I consider representing them in parliament. Although the last one did not work out, I consider it only fitting that I should intimate you of my intention at this very early stage. It is my sincere hope that from now onwards, this ambition will not be mine alone, but shared ownership and promoted by all of you here present. If that becomes the case as I am sure it would, then victory is already assured.

Nkwanta South Constituency regrettably has suffered from the twin scourge of under-representation and misrepresentation for some years now, and this is very unfortunate. We need to stop shouting from outside because there is no one listening. We need to get inside to get a voice and to do something about our dear Constituency and its people.

We know the power of competition in the business world. We also know that it is competition which ultimately brings benefits to the customers in terms of improved quality and lower prices of products. It is competition that makes customer a “King” by providing alternative products and services. Competition also serves as a deterrent to businesses going slack.

Similarly, I believe that we also need to bring in competition in the field of politics. The first thing that we as constituent must do is to provide competition to our MPs. It is only when there is competition that the current group of politicians will realize that they have to perform or perish. It is competition in politics that will make the “citizen” and the “voter” the “King.” I have decided that I want to increase the competition in our politics by providing the people an “Alternative” to vote for at Nkwanta South. I want to encourage other people to also contest elections and provide alternative voice in the Volta region.

There is therefore, the urgent need for CHANGE. And the time for change is NOW. I am therefore offering myself as a candidate to represent Nkwanta South in parliament for the 2012 elections on the banner of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the ruling political party. My candidacy is borne out of an inner realization that men of conscience do not have to keep quiet when everything seems to be going wrong. What is needed at this point in time in Nkwanta South Constituency is a FACE AND VOICE that can bring back confidence and hope to our people. Ladies and Gentlemen, I dare say, without being immodest, that I am that FACE OF HOPE.

If elected therefore, I will use that little height which my talents have propelled me to enter into all the places that matter, both inside and outside the House of Representatives to get what our people want. It is unimaginable that Peter Kenyenso will be an outsider in a parliament that I am a member and use my influence for only my wife and children.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I urge you to support my candidature. My victory will be a victory for the people of Nkwanta South, because I am going to be an insider in parliament in the true sense of the word, and will exploit such pedigree to the full advantage of our people.

Thank You All and God Bless.
